Chris has been a steadfast and reliable employee for many years, working his way up the ranks at a local Safeway Inc. supermarket with the help of HireAble and Contra Costa ARC’s job placement and coaching services. He grew steadily through a variety of roles at Safeway, including serving as a courtesy clerk, bakery staff and a meat clerk, until Chris ultimately became the store wine steward. In the years since finding stable employment, Chris has purchased a condo, married, had a baby, and gone incredibly far with the independence first afforded of him through the job support.
